Essential Oils

    Essential OilsWellness

    Wellness

I was going to label this post why essential oils should be in every home but then that doesn’t allow me to share what Young Living truly is about. Young Living wants to bring wellness, purpose and abundance to everyone. That looks differently for each and every one of us. Today, let’s talk about wellness.

    well·ness
    ˈwelnəs/
    noun
    1. the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal.

Alright, let’s talk friends. The key words in this definition for me are good health and actively pursued. The goal of everyone in this life is to be in good health. Correct? I think some days and weeks are harder than others to actively pursue but on some level we all want to be able to try and do better daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. An important thing to remember is wellness doesn’t just mean the food you eat or how many steps you get in.

Wellness includes the products you use every day. I get it you’re probably thinking at this point, I don’t have time to research everything in my products. I don’t have time to find all the best places to purchase safe products. I’ll just stick to buying the “organic”, “green” and “clean” stuff at the stores. It’s all the same.

Hold up. Freeze. They are not the same. ” After all, beauty firms spend, on average, a whopping 20 percent to 25 percent of their revenue on advertising and promotion, compared with just 2 percent or 3 percent on research and development. The industry knows that green is hot these days, and it hasn’t been shy about exploiting it—between 2006 and 2007, the number of product launches that came with “natural” claims increased by 79 percent, while the number professing to be “organic” jumped 173 percent. As one savvy hair-care exec put it, the words “natural and environmental” used to mean “dried twigs and bark and herbs”; now they mean “juicy, alive and luscious.” These terms that companies use on products are to make you think you are buying something that’s good for you but please if you don’t want to believe me research the ingredients in your products.”

Young Living takes the guessing out of it. Young Living steps in and says we get your life is full of important things and we want to handle this one for you. We want you to know that what you are using in your home is in fact safe for you and your entire family

About Me

This gypsy heart just needs to wander. Wander to undiscovered mountains and caves that guard the mysteries of this world. I will unturn every stone, I will walk every unpaved path, I will dive through the darkest seas. Just to discover the secrets that were only meant for me. -Chrissie Pinney
