    Favorite Acai Bowl Recipes

    You can make this a breeze by buying the pre-made frozen açaí puree at the store which is what I do. I’ll share my favorite at the end of the post! Some little tips and tricks for you. I will buy a few bunches of bananas at once and let them ripen. I’ll then slice them in halves or thirds depending on their size and throw them in a grocery bag in the freezer. It makes it super easy to just grab and go for these without worrying about the ingredients going bad! I’ve found the texture of frozen fruit works best for the puree so I’ll buy fruit in bulk and freeze until I’m ready to use. This has become one of my favorite things to make with my recent diet changes. It’s super easy to make it dairy free and I’ll add a scoop of protein powder to them as well.

    Rainbow Bowl
    Açaí Puree

    • 1/2 banana

    • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries

    • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries

    • 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

    • 1 pack açaí puree

    • 1 scoop of YL chocolate protein powder

    Toppings

    • 1/4 cup blueberries

    • 1/2 kiwi, peeled and sliced

    • 1/2 banana, sliced

    • 1/4 cup peeled and chopped pineapple

    •1/4 cup strawberries, sliced

    • 1/4 cup granola

    • drizzle of raw honey

     

    Green Machine Bowl
    Açaí Puree

    • 1 pack açaí puree

    • 1 cup fresh spinach

    • 1 cup fresh kale

    • 1/2 banana

    • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks

    • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

    • 1 scoop of YL chocolate protein powder

    Toppings

    • 1/2 banana, sliced

    • 1/4 cup peeled and chopped pineapple

    • 1/4 cup granola

    • 1 tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut

    • drizzle of raw honey

     

    Butter Bowl
    Açaí Puree

    • 1/2 banana

    • 1 1/2 tsp unsalted peanut butter or almond butter

    • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

    • 1 pack açaí puree

    • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries

    • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

    • 1 scoop of YL chocolate protein powder

    Toppings

    • 1/2 banana, sliced

    • 1/4 cup granola

    • 1 tbsp cocoa nibs

    • 1 1/2 tsp unsalted peanut butter or almond butter

    • drizzle of raw honey
